STAT 225. Introduction to Statistics.

A basic first course in probability and statistics; frequency distributions; averages and measures of variation; probability; simple confidence intervals and tests of significance appropriate to binomial and normal populations; correlation and regression, including confidence intervals and tests of significance for bivariate populations. (3 credit hours) Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
